Friso Postma

Critical sounding board, systems thinker and tester of new ideas  

Friso studied Marine Biology at the University of Groningen with a specialization in Science, Business & Policy. Friso loves to unravel complex biological questions and to translate the acquired knowledge into usable technology. During his internship at Bioclear earth, Friso has gained experience in developing models for bacterial growth based on thermodynamics. 

At Microbial Analysis he uses this experience to develop a growth model in which a number of environmental factors can be used to predict the occurrence of MIC (microbiologically influenced corrosion). Within our team, Friso is perceived as someone who remains calm under pressure and who is not afraid to ask critical questions.  

In his free time, he prefers to be on the tennis court every day. In the summer you will find him on the beach surfing the waves or when there are no waves, playing the ukulele.
